Jake's First Time out of the Country

The Watsons just got back from the Dominican Republic. It was full of firsts for Jake. His first airplane ride (he was a superstar), his first swim, his first dip in the ocean, his first time somewhere warm, his first time outside without a coat or blanket, his first taste of solids (sand), his first time hanging out in just his diaper, his first time going barefoot for a whole week. He even rolled over for the first time when we were there.

What better to do in the winter than head up north to the cottage?

Jake's first toboggan experience... It took longer to get him dressed and bundled than the time he actually spent outside. Did I mention it was windy?

Poor Baby!

Sometimes life is just tough, but Jake knows how to do it in style. He has mastered the art of the pout. We would feel sorry for him if we could stop laughing.

Happy Holidays!

The Watsons are back from their holiday season travels. We started in Orangeville for the Hendrie family Christmas. Jacob met lots of new family, hung out with his Pop and GG and then had a nice nap with Nana when all the attention wore him out.




We were in Owen Sound for Christmas - here's Jacob helping to decorate Christmas cakes and admiring some of his new presents Christmas morning.



We then went to London for New Years - it was a major baby fest, but I didn't get many pictures. From London we drove to Ottawa and had Christmas with the Watson side of the family. Here's Jacob getting his first piano lesson from his Grandpa Watson.
